Online Graduate Development Program

Could your graduates benefit from a comprehensive overview of budgeting, workflow and communication skills required to work effectively in an accounting environment?
This program, now in its 7th season, is designed to challenge new and established graduate accountants to take real responsibility for their work. Over 4 sessions, we’ll provide clear independent direction in relation to budgeting and WIP management, workflow and client management and professional development.
Registrants can participate as a group or on their own, during or outside work hours. Workbooks and support notes will be provided for each session. All registrants will be asked to provide feedback on actions they will take as a result of their learnings.

Specific topics covered in the 4 sessions will include:
- The importance of setting and managing job budgets
- Areas of responsibility – accountant and manager
- How to understand and manage scope of work
- What to do if your WIP gets out of control
- Setting up and managing your weekly planner
- Dealing with conflicting priorities and roadblocks
- How to work with your manager to get jobs done
- Dealing with client information requests and follow-up
- Expectations in relation to professional development
- How to act on feedback constructively.
This program is ideal for junior and graduate accountants who have been with your firm for up to 2 years.
